“The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:46-47) The Central Asian Christian Community is dedicated to building a strong community where those from Central Asian countries or descent can feel welcomed and supported. While many churches exist, there are none that connect with the unique cultures, backgrounds and traditions of those of Central Asia. Our goal is to support the Central Asian community, spiritually, emotionally and through personal development and education for both adults and younger generations all the while bringing people together for the common good. The founder, Lola Ergashova has worked as an organizer, teacher and avid volunteer for many years. “Since 2012 When I started to learn and study the bible, I was in a lot of churches. I attended many different services by will, and a part of my program too. They were the Russian Orthodox Church, Presbyterian Church, Albanian Church, Indonesian Church and Polish Catholic Service. When I was in these services, all the time I met someone new during service, from Uzbekistan or a person from central Asia. I talked to some of them about why they are attending this service or are a member of this church and the answer was there is no church of their own close to their culture, background and traditions. And I had an idea why not to open one, so these people can be together, meet each other, and find out about each other.”
